IVY GROWTH GENERATOR TOOL

This tool allows an artist to draw any curve along a geometry and generate an ivy vine along that curve. The artist can also control other parameters for the ivy including changing the leaf shape, the number of leaves, the material of the leaves, the leaf growth direction, the number of roots, the root jitter, the branch thickness, the distance between the branch curve and the object, and many others shown in the breakdown video below. 
I developed this tool by creating an HDA using python and Vex within Houdini.
